lisa rasmussen is a Pittsburgh-based botanical artist and instructor working
in watercolor, pen & ink, graphite and printmaking. Her work blends scientific and close observation with fine art, capturing the intricate beauty and structure of plants. The intent behind her work is to illuminate the wonder in nature and bring its importance to the viewer.
Through her workshops and classes, lisa empowers students of all skill levels to explore botanical art and illustration and develop their own artistic voice.
